Giving Opportunities

Contributions to Woodmere are vitally important and very much appreciated. Gifts large and small support exhibitions, education programs, and preserving and protecting Woodmere’s collections. There are many ways to support the Museum. Some giving opportunities are listed below.

Annual Giving

Unrestricted contributions throughout the year support Woodmere’s daily operating expenses.

Exhibition and Catalogue Sponsorship

Support Woodmere’s special exhibitions and their accompanying catalogues. Sponsors are recognized in the exhibition galleries, catalogues and other printed material, and at donor events.

Collections and Acquisitions

Support the Museum’s ongoing efforts to conserve and preserve the permanent collection of more than 3,000 objects. Donor funds also support new acquisitions. Call us about Woodmere’s Adopt-a-Painting program.

Education Programs

From the Dialogues lecture series to the Helen Millard Children’s Gallery to art class scholarships education programs offer many ways to support the Museum.

Prize Funds

Woodmere awards monetary prizes in several categories at the Annual Juried Exhibition. Many prizes are named in honor of the donor’s family. Establishing a Prize Fund at Woodmere directly supports Philadelphia’s artists.
