Curtis Institute of Music is home to some of the most talented young performers of their generation. Enjoy an evening with violinist, Maya Anjali Buchanan, who will be performing a variety of sonatas and other compositions featuring the music of Claude Debussy, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Reena Esmail. Reena Esmail's piece “Darshan” ties in with Buchanan's Indian heritage, her interest in exploring the music of Western classical composers with ties to the East, and their blending of styles.
 
Jungeun KimDirector of Instrumental Accompaniment at Curtis, will provide piano accompaniment for the performance. 
 
All appear by special arrangement with Curtis on Tour, the Nina von Maltzahn global touring initiative of the Curtis Institute of Music.
