Relâche Ensemble’s Bob Butryn (clarinet and saxophone) and Ron Stabinsky (piano) present a family-friendly concert of works by contemporary composers as well as live improvisation to readings of Jerry Pinkney’s children’s books, John Henry and I Want to Be. The evening will feature the music of composers Takashi Yoshimatsu, Conor Brown, Tina Davidson, Trevor Weston, and Guy Klucevsek. Relâche is Philadelphia’s new music ensemble dedicated to commissioning, presenting, and performing the most innovative and exciting music of our time.
