Woodmere Art Museum

John Laub’s landscape paintings are immersive environments of lush forests, winding pathways, and sun-soaked beaches. His depictions of places like Fire Island, Coral Gables, and the Adirondacks celebrate the picturesque beauty of nature and reveal his joyous love of paint. Laub’s canvases are filled with expressive brushstrokes and intense color. Focusing on his large-scale paintings, the exhibition also includes a selection of the artist’s prints and drawings. This presentation marks the first solo showing of Laub’s work in Philadelphia in over two decades.
