Join us for performances of three string quartets selected to participate in a special workshop with the Dover Quartet at the Curtis Institute of Music. Each of the quartets were chosen from an international pool of applicants.

The Balourdet Quartet, based in Boston, MA, is currently in residence at the New England Conservatory’s Professional String Quartet Program;

The Erinys Quartet, based in Helsinki, Finland, is composed of an international group of musicians studying at the Sibelius Academy;

The Partridge String Quartet was formed at the Australian National Academy of Music, and is becoming a fast force in the country's classical music scene.

The Dover Quartet was formed in 2008 at the Curtis Institute and was named one of the greatest string quartets of the last 100 years by BBC Music Magazine and is known for captivating audiences with its “expert musicianship” and “deep musical feeling” (The Chicago Tribune).

This concert is free thanks to the generosity of donors and the Curtis Institute of Music.
