Composer, bandleader, and musician, Charles Mingus expanded the role of the bass into a frontline instrument of emotional power that helped forge a new style of jazz. The John Coley Group will bring to life Mingus classics like Haitian Fight Song, Goodbye Porkpie Hat, Wednesday Night Meeting, and others.
