Impressionists, Expressionists, and Fauves: Palettes that Bred Modernism 6

Explore the palettes of the Impressionists, Expressionists and Fauve artists and learn the rich and vast language of color. Each week, students will use still life set-ups to create several paintings that investigate the palettes of these artists to gain a deep understanding of color relationships and how colors are chosen to meet the needs of the subject, convey a feeling, mood, an atmosphere, geographical location, or  narrative.
