K6 | Painting and Collage

Young artists will explore a variety of painting techniques using acrylics, watercolors, tempera cakes, oil pastels, and resist. Through fun, hands-on activities, they’ll discover creative ways to mix colors, experiment with textures, and make unique brushstrokes. They'll also create their own collage papers by layering, scraping, and blending colors as well as collage tissue paper, patterned paper, and other fun materials into their paintings!
