K8 | Teen Painting and Drawing (In-Studio)

This class is a balance of instruction and guided mentorship for teenagers to develop their individual artistic style. Students will strengthen their abilities with color, drawing, and composition and explore a variety of materials such as acrylics, charcoal, pen and ink, watercolor, oil pastels and more. They will work from observation and experiment with both representation and abstraction. Landscapes, figurative compositions, and still lifes will be the main focus as students develop their artistic voice and self-expression.
