Woodmere Art Museum is proud to present Illustrating Change: The Red Rose Girls & 20th Century Suffrage. Learn the stories of Jessie Willcox Smith, Elizabeth Shippen Green, and Violet Oakley who were among the most prominent and prolific artists of their time. These three remarkable Philadelphia artists became an example of the possibilities for women in the workforce during the suffrage movement. Their talent, dedication, and lifelong friendship brought them national recognition.
