Join us at the Brandywine Museum of Art to view a special exhibition by Peter Paone. A renowned Philadelphia artist and friend of Woodmere, mastered painting, drawing, and printmaking over his seven-decade career. In Shadows' Embrace offers a rare glimpse into his early printmaking, featuring 22 works, including his 1963 portfolio The Ten Commandments of Ambrose Bierce. Influenced by German Expressionism and Goya, Paone’s art explores deep themes of faith, loneliness, and death. As a special highlight, Peter himself will join us for an exclusive tour of the exhibition, followed by an intimate reception—a unique opportunity to hear directly from the artist about his creative journey.
