On Saturday, July 10, please join us for an in-person opening reception for the opening of Roland Ayers: Calligraphy of Dreams, on view through October 24, 2021.
Master draftsman Roland Ayers (1932–2014) was born in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia and he studied at the Philadelphia College of the Arts (now the University of the Arts). Through his unique style and iconography, he made reference to the broader canons of art history and responded to the social and political climate of his time.
