The “drumbeat is the heartbeat” is a phrase that reflects the sources of African Highlife music that originated in West Africa. Vocalist Elle Gyandoh blends the sounds of “Highlife” with jazz music of the 1960’s to create a wonderful evening filled with rhythm and dance.

Due to high humidity, this concert on 7/20 will be held INDOORS. Seating will be provided by the Museum. No refreshments are permitted inside the building.
