Woodmere’s Juneteenth Celebration features Elle Gyandoh & the John Doe Band for an evening of soul stirring music with songs of struggle, resilience, hope, and freedom. Vocalist Elle Gyandoh brings her own mix of rhythm and blues, pop and jazz to take us on the journey to freedom with I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free, What’s Going On?, Respect, A Change is Gonna Come, Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now, and more.

  • Due to excessive heat warnings, Saturday Night Jazz on June 22, Tribute to Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding: Memphis Soul, will be held INDOORS. Seating will be provided by the Museum. No refreshments are permitted inside the building.
