Teacher Workshop | Inspiring Printmaking in the Art Classroom

Learn new strategies for bringing printmaking into your  classroom. Be inspired by contemporary artists to see how simple stamping techniques lead to complexity. Participants will experiment with making homemade stamps to create patterned papers with overlapping colors and textures. We will use these papers to develop a collaborative puzzle collage or paper weaving, two processes that invite creative intervention.

 

This workshop will led by members of Prints Link Philadelphia, a collaboration of teaching artists who share the enjoyment and versatility of printmaking with students.
