The Expressive Figure W3

This workshop will radically change your way of thinking about figure painting. Whether you are a realist, think abstractly, or stuck in rut with color, proportion, environment, or pose, this class will open your eyes to new ways of working with materials, such as charcoal, watercolor, ink, oil and acrylic paint. We will focus on the figurative artists of the San Francisco Bay, such as, Joan Brown, Richard Diebenkorn, David Park, Nathan Oliveri, and other’s who changed the perception of figurative art. This workshop will help you build confidence in completing an honest re-interpretation of the figure.
