W7 | Painting En Plein Air: The Figure and Landscape

Paint on the beautiful grounds of the Woodmere Art Museum. Learn from demonstrations and historical references how to incorporate a figure into the landscape. Master your “sight seeing” skills and develop a keen eye for lighting, perspective and color arrangements. Explore methods for painting outdoors and capturing the colors and lights of shade and sunlight. Create a mood, work representationally or abstractly. We will work with a model on day two and three. Use the media of your choice. Drawing and sketching is encouraged. Rain (studio is available) or shine.
