Kids Care 27: Visions and Voices of Young Artists

Kids Care is a special program that has touched the lives of thousands of people in the Philadelphia area. Young people learn they can make a difference in other's lives by creating an artwork as a holiday gift for people in need. The recipients of the gifts learn that indeed "kids care."

 

This year's Kids Care focused on positive and hopeful messages for the future. Works of art can reflect the students' answers to questions such as: "Where do you find hope?", "What brings people together?", "Who inspires you?", or "What symbols, words, images, emblems are most meaningful to you?"

 

Artwork will be delivered along with holiday meals provided by MANNA (Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance) to individuals battling life-threatening illnesses.
