Together We Create: William Penn Charter School

In the art studios across Penn Charter’s campus, our artists work side by side as they make creative discoveries through play and experimentation. We not only share art materials but ideas and questions as well.  

 

We create together because we believe in the power of collaboration – in solving problems, dreaming imaginatively, and sharing our vision with others.

 

The importance of each student’s individual voice is part of Penn Charter School’s Quaker philosophy. The imagination and self-expression of young artists are nurtured under the guidance of art teachers, Jennifer Chernak, Joy Lai, Ruth McGee, and EvaKay Noone, who expose students to a range of diverse art experiences and media. From vividly colored paintings, collages, prints, drawings and ceramics, to costumes and masks, the art on exhibit highlights the vibrant visual arts program at Penn Charter School.  

 

 

 

 

Come celebrate the creativity of the young artists from William Penn Charter's Upper School and see their exhibition Together We Create, in the Helen Millard Children's Gallery. Light refreshments will be served.
