Artist Marta Sanchez brings the Mexican tradition of Cascarones to Woodmere to celebrate  spring and Mother’s Day! Enjoy decorating confetti-filled eggshells with paint, markers, and glitter to create lots of your own Cascarones. Then, bring them home to enjoy the fun tradition of cracking the eggs over loved ones’ heads, a tradition that holds the belief that as the confetti spills out from the eggshells, the cascarones will bring good luck.
