Lebe, David
Lebe was born in New York City and came to Philadelphia to attend the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) in 1966. Throughout his career, he made photographs combining invented technical innovation and old-fashioned approaches, such as pinhole pictures and photograms. His work is included in the collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum, the State Museum of Pennsylvania, and many others. He has had numerous exhibitions of his work in Philadelphia and New York.
