Dimensions
44-1/2 x 55-1/2 in. (frame)

Neff worked from photographs to create this diptych. She depicts her young sister Dossy with her father at left and with her mother at right. The two views of the typical street of Philadelphia rowhouses almost fit together as a continuous view, but Neff allows for a disjunction that preserves an awareness that she was working from two distinct pictures, two different moments in time.
