  • This painting is of Jefferson Street which is now in the town called Belmont Hills. Formally called West Manayunk. The big red and white house was built in the late 1800's by my Great Great Grandfather William Robinson who was an Irish Immigrant. For his wife and 9 children. It still currently stands. Years later my Aunt Mary Robinson VanderVeur lived there not knowing that her ancestor built the home till years later.

  • This is now Hermitage st. My grandparents lived in the first house built on the street when it was built it was the only house on the street and it was called Jefferson st.
