Michael Biddle explained that his father loved to walk, hike, and ski, and generally enjoyed the outdoors. Together, father and son once hiked from Austria, over the Alps, into Italy. Here, Biddle stares out confidently and in a dead-pan manner. An older man of sixty-six, he wears leather ski mittens and clutches his poles.
