Ginger Mimmo Rohlfing

Bio:

Ginger Mimmo Rohlfing is a two time graduate of Moore College of Art & Design. She holds a BFA and graduated from the Art Education program with honors. While in college she traveled Europe and spent a semester studying art and history in Rome. Formally trained in fine art styles of drawing and painting Ginger also graduated with a minor in Photography during her BFA, and taught photo classes at Moore College Young Artists Workshop. Currently she attends teacher enrichment courses at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, keeping her lessons and personal work constantly evolving. As an artist Ginger’s work has been featured around the Philadelphia area in group shows for over 12 years.

Ginger is currently teaching drawing, painting, and clay courses at the Woodmere Art Museum; Abington Art Center, and at Moore College of Art and Design Young Artists Workshop. She also teaches several workshops throughout the year for both adults and children. Previously she taught for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia at two parochial schools where she implemented a plethora of new programs into the schools, held school wide annual art exhibitions for students, and entered student work throughout the Philadelphia area in exhibitions featuring student work. She designed and oversaw the construction of a permanent mural in Our Mother of Consolation Parish School, and awarded thousands in art scholarships to students.
