Shay Rutkowski

Philosophy:
Shay sees art as an everlasting practice that contracts and releases like a muscle. The wondrous imagination of young children is an inspiring age to work with, and Shay loves to work on guiding a child’s self-expression. Classes are process-based with collaborative aspects to intersect socioemotional growth and creative ambition. Shay honors each child’s way of seeing of the world, and centers sensory experiences of the natural world and movement for childrens’ creations.
