Steve Teare

Teaching Philosophy:

I believe that comics can be made in any medium, in any style, and to express anything an artist is feeling. I also believe that there are heights one can reach in comics that are nearly impossible in many other art forms. The worlds one builds in comics could be infinite, and the process itself can become truly rewarding.

Bio:

Steve Teare is an illustrator and art teacher living in West Philadelphia. He has illustrated for VICE, Philly Voice, WHYY, Philadelphia City Paper, Philly Weekly, and various educational websites and children’s books. His comics have appeared on The Nib, Bright, and elsewhere.
