4535 Kelly King:Lobsterman's Cove /stories/kelly-king-lobsterman-s-cove

My grandfather created this painting (I believe it was one he reworked). It is my all-time favorite painting of his. I remember being about nine years old or so and he asked me to “help” him as he worked on this piece. He had me inspect for dust on the painting and he asked me to give him suggestions on how to make the clouds, since I was “so good at drawing clouds”. He made me feel so special. I think the painting is one of his best and I miss seeing it hang in my grandmother’s bedroom. I hope others are able to enjoy it.
