3292 Portrait of Mrs. Rudolph Blankenburg /stories/portrait-of-mrs-rudolph-blankenburg_3292

Nina Belle Ward was my Great Aunt. She studied at the New York School of Art, Chase School, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the St. Louis School of Fine Art, and for many years taught art in Kalamazoo and was instrumental in founding the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. In 1914 she won the Mary Smith Prize for her painting Elizabeth at an exhibit at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, which still has the picture in their collection. If you know any more about her or own one or more of her pictures I would very much appreciate hearing from you.
